Responsibilities Mother-Baby RNs consult and coordinate with health
care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
plans for both mother and infant. Mother-Baby RNs monitor the
bonding between mother and infant and provide mothers with
breastfeeding tips. Mother-Baby RN job responsibilities include,
but are not limited to: Maintain a comfortable, safe, and clean
environment for mother and infant Assist mothers with hygienic
needs, checking for any postpartum bleeding, examining the fundus,
and C-section incision (if applicable) Perform emotional status
checks on mothers, recognizing symptoms related to postpartum
