Job Description:
Walmart Inc. seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff
Pharmacist to join our dynamic team at our in-store pharmacies
across numerous locations. This position is ideal for candidates
looking to impact the health and wellness of our communities
through accurate medication dispensing and compassionate patient
care in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Staff Pharmacist, you
will utilize your clinical skills to provide optimal healthcare
services that meet our high standards of quality and safety.
Dispense prescribed medications, advise on the proper use and
adverse effects of drugs and supplements. Perform patient
medication therapy management and review to optimize and ensure
effective treatments while minimizing risks. Collaborate with
healthcare providers to discuss patient treatment plans and
medication therapies. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and
local pharmacy laws, including handling and documentation of
controlled substances. Administer immunizations and contribute to
community health initiatives. Manage pharmacy inventory and
regulatory records, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. Provide
supervision and mentorship to pharmacy technicians and support
staff. Expert knowledge of prescription drugs, over-the-counter
products, and their interactions. Ability to communicate medical
information to non-medical personnel clearly and effectively.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple
tasks efficiently. Experience with pharmaceutical software and
understanding of electronic health record systems. Medical

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
