Join us and discover why Modern Healthcare Magazine named us in its “Top 100 Places to Work.” Overview: The Central Region Throughput Center Technician is responsible for a variety of nursing support services throughout the Central community including, but not limited to: - Deployment of nursing staffing resources to facilitate cost effective coverage of staff for all shifts within multiple patient care areas in the Central Community hospitals - Placement of patients in an appropriate unit based on Physician order and identified criteria - Proactive analysis and identification of staffing issues with a focus on resolution - Facilitation of hospital throughput - Collection of data as directed Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
