Job SummaryThis position will be responsible for the overall sales
and service for their client base. Performance expectations will be
evaluated on meeting sales targets. This ideal candidate will have
strong closing skills, territory management experience, client
relations and strong negotiation skills. Industry experience and
product knowledge is desired. The right individual will be
self-motivated and have a strong initiative. Essential Duties and
ResponsibilitiesServices existing accounts, obtains orders, and
establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work
schedule to call on existing or potential sales
opportunitiesAdjusts content of sales presentations by studying the
type of salesFocuses sales efforts by studying existing and
potential volume of distributorsSubmits orders by referring to
price lists and product literatureSubmitting activity and results
reports to management, such as sales call reports, weekly work
plans, and monthly and annual territory analysesMonitors
competition by gathering current marketplace information on
pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising
techniques, etc.Recommends changes in products, service, and policy
by evaluating results and competitive developmentsResolves customer
complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions;
preparing reports; making recommendations to managementMaintains
professional and technical knowledge by attending educational
workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing
personal networks; participating in professional societiesProvides
historical records by maintaining records on area and customer
salesContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as
neededMinimum QualificationsIdeal candidate will have 5+ years of
Food Service Disposables, Jan-San, and/or paper sales experience to
the away-from-home marketplace. This candidate must be a proven
closer, have a demonstrated track record of success, and be a
highly motivated self-starter. This position will be required to
travel frequently to develop strong relationships with clients. RJ
