Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a firmly established Equipment Organization looking to hire an Equipment Salesperson to cover one of their Missouri territories. Ideal individual will have an exceptional understanding of the current Construction, Farm or Ag Equipment market space and have proven experience selling Equipment or Machinery within a territory setting on a commission basis. Primary responsibilities of this role will be to present oneself as a Sales Professional who:
- Understands the Equipment / Machinery sales process
- Promptly responds to requests from management and customers
- Collaborates well with Sales Manager and additional Sales Team Members
- Encourages a Team Selling environment
- Utilizes other industry professionals such as Manufacturer Representatives
- Develops and implements territory coverage plans and documents activities through CRM
- Adheres to defined paperwork schedules and maintains a level of expense consistent with organizational requirements
- Prepares sales order contracts and submits for process in a timely fashion
- Accurately maintains good customer records
- Plans ahead for customer call activity and strategy within territory
- Effectively utilizes product demonstrations to enhance the selling experience
- Utilizes good question asking and listening skills to effectively meet the needs of the customer
- Stays educated and updated on current product line offered by employer and by competitors QUALIFICATIONS - Post secondary education preferred
- If no post secondary education, a minimum 3 years of commissioned Equipment / Machinery Sales experience
- Solid understanding of the Farm, Ag or ConstructionEquipment market space
- Knowledge to successfully sell New and Used Equipment and effectively assess trade values
- Ability to operate and demonstrate Equipment
- Solid communication skills including strong financial negotiation skills
- Highly organized with solid time management skills
- Experience with a CRM system beneficial
- Computer literate with Microsoft experience in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to travel territory as well as traveling to trade shows and required training
- Currently residing within territory Education:
University - Associate`s Degree/Graduate Diploma/2 Years
