SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for picking up recyclables
from campus such as paper, aluminum cans, cardboard, etc. Other
duties as assigned.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential
job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial,
harmonious working relationships with others.

Valid Driver's License/CDL
* Experience in the recycling industry
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAS)
* Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques
* Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and maintenance
* Ability to follow instructions and perform repetitive manual
* Ability to use cleansers and other agents to clean floors and
* Ability to use housekeeping cleaning supplies and equipment
* Ability to work independently without close supervision
* Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions
* Ability to perform multiple tasks and to prioritize
* Ability to perform repetitive manual work
* Ability to do required lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS POSITION
The following physical activities are associated with the position
and will be performed with or without an accommodation. All

Employee is required to have visual acuity to operate motor
vehicles and/or heavy equipment. Employee is required to have
visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness
of the work assigned (i.e., custodial, general laborer, lab
personnel, etc.) or to make general observations of facilities or
structures (i.e., security guard). Employee is required to have
visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operates machines
where the seeing job is at or within arm s reach; performs
mechanical or skilled trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature, such
as carpenters or technicians.
The employee is subject to both environmental conditions.
Activities occur inside and outside.
Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
