Systems Support Technician

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Systems Support Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, repair, install, and upgrade desktop/laptop computer systems within the client's LAN/WAN environment
Set up and troubleshoot domains, user accounts, and software accounts
Manage LAN backups, monitor corporate Anti-virus and Anti-SPAM systems, and develop procedures for hardware and software use

Required Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, or equivalent job experience, A+ Certification, Microsoft Certification
1-2 years of experience as a Microsoft Windows Desktop Support Technician in an environment with at least 25 Windows systems
Experience with Intel/AMD hardware installation/upgrade, Microsoft Office, and operating systems
Understanding of LAN/WAN/Internet environments and TCP/IP knowledge
Ability to create user guides, system documentation, and troubleshoot hardware effectively
