Job Description:
The Logistics Specialist I is responsible
for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the transportation of
non-O'Reilly fleet shipments. Essential Job
Functions Coordinate the pickup and delivery of shipments in a
timely manner.Liaison between suppliers and company for
transportation requests. Dispatch, track, and trace all
inbound and outbound non-O'Reilly fleet shipments.Research late
deliveries and report on their updated status.Perform freight cost
analysis on transportation expense for shipments and special
projects. Skills and QualificationsExcellent customer service,
organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.Proficient
in Microsoft Excel and basic computer operations.Ability to
multi-task.Strong problem solving skills and the ability to make
swift, sound decisions.Prior Logistics experience and/or
Shipping/Receiving experience desired.
