Description:

Principal Level data architect and technical team lead in the implementation, transformation, and support of the data management features of Aginity's products. Primary focus on the Netezza platform using the Agile methodology.

Responsibilities:

Conversion of legacy stored procedures and scripts to CIA's and Amp's internal ELT tool.
Training and mentoring clients on the usage and best practices of Aginity tools.
Analysis and ingestion of a variety of sources into highly normalized flexible architecture base layer
Developed custom analytic calculations using Amp tool developed custom publications of data for variety of client needs (Star-Schema, one-off publications, downstream ingestion)
Investigation and troubleshooting of data assets as they progressed through the tools.
Tuning of generated SQL via modifying the inputs into the Aginity tool or the generated code itself.
Upgrading client's versions of the software, including modifications to metadata inputs into the Aginity tool and troubleshooting any issues found through regression testing.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
