- Job Details
- The psychiatric unit nurse cares for patients with behavioral
health illnesses in an acute care setting.
- The psychiatric unit nurse is responsible to conduct intake
interviews, assess and evaluate the patient, establish a plan of
care, maintain a safe therapeutic environment, work collaboratively
as a member of an interdisciplinary team, and may conduct
therapeutic groups.
- Job Requirements
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with adult and adolescent psychiatry also preferred
as RN may float to another unit.
- 2 years experience in specialty.
- Previous travel experience preferred.
- Schedule Information
- Start Date: 9/30.
- Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, including weekends and holidays as
needed.
- Additional Details
- MUST live at least 100 miles away from the facility to which
they are applying.
- If previously employed by CoxHealth, must have been gone for at
