The Correspondence Representative 2 performs research, analysis, documentation, and interpretation for the provider reimbursement programs for an organization that provides health insurance. Updates, maintains, and reviews fee scheduling and pricing structures. Ensures contracted rates and reimbursement policies are priced and applied accurately. The Correspondence Representative 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
The Correspondence Representative 2 makes reimbursement policy and process recommendations and ensures compliance with government regulations. Analyzes provider reimbursement patterns and trends. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Minimum 1 year experience using multiple system platforms and split screens simultaneously
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Word, and Outlook, basic understanding of Excel
Excellent communication skills to include writing, speaking, listening, providing or accepting feedback, and team building
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Commitment to preserving confidentiality
Experience in a healthcare environment
Claims processing experience
Experience using Mentor documents
Experience working in CAS and/or MTV
Contract Information System (CIS) experience
Required Work Schedule
Virtual Training will start day one of employment and run the first 8 weeks with a schedule of 8am - 4:30pm EST, Monday - Friday. Attendance is vital for success, so no time off is allowed during training.
Flexible schedule may be considered once training is complete and metrics, performance targets are met. Leader will discuss during interview.

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
