Job Description:
Job title: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Location: Springfield, MO Duration: 2 months Shift/Schedule: Days,
40 hours weekly
Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of a registered occupational therapist,
assists in the delivery of occupational therapy services in
compliance with federal regulations and rules promulgated by the
Missouri Board of Occupational Therapy.
- Provides advisory service to other interdisciplinary team members
to promote quality patient care.
- Functions under the direct supervision of the Assistant
Director.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with
our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
- Must demonstrate competency in equipment used for the delivery of
modalities and therapeutic interventions for patients.
