This is for a 2nd shift position 2:30 pm- 10:30 pm with $1.00 shift differential

Our Machine Operators are an integral part of the team, responsible for forming parts using various types of machinery. Our Machine Operators will be assigned to a specific area, but are always empowered to cross-train in order to learn a variety of different machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Understand and follow all company procedures for safety.
* Inspect work pieces to conform to specifications and adjust machine to correct errors.
* Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
* Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
* Test finished products for defects.
* Maintain the tools used to create products.
* Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.

Education

* High school diploma or GED strongly preferred

Specialized Knowledge and Experience

* Ability to read and comprehend blue prints, shop floor documentation, customer specifications/diagrams, instructions provided by supervisors/managers.
* No experience is required, but the successful candidates must have the mechanical aptitude to manufacture parts with high quality.
