Take your career to the next level: Own It Our Assemblers are responsible for assembling finished product using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners, and test finished good product, and pack in designated packaging according to customer specifications and company processes. 1st and 2nd shift positions available working 7am to 3:30pm or 3:30pm to midnight Monday-Friday with some overtime required. Your Role: Perform routine and non-routine production duties by following written processes to assemble either complete engines or engine components. Follow written processes to paint and package finished goods Inspect the final result of your process to insure a top quality product Resolve assembly and packing problems based on experience. Report problems to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor for assistance. Maintain good housekeeping in the department and your workspace. Maintain a safe working environment by following company safety policies. Works within production processes to ensure compliance with IATF 16949:2016 standards (quality standards that are set companywide). Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management. Regular attendance and satisfactory performance of the above listed duties is also essential to this position. Mandatory overtime may be required and is also essential to meeting customer and performance demands. Work Environment: Applicants must be able to work in a manufacturing environment. You may be exposed to harsh conditions such as dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures for extended period of times. PPE such as steel toed boots, safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection may be required. Physical Requirements: You will regularly be required to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk and hear. You may sit 5% of the time and stand/walk 95% of the time. You must be able to frequently lift or move 35 to 50 pounds. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of reliability. They will have motivation and drive to get the job done. They will be enthusiastic workers interested in growth and improvement. Other requirements include: High School Diploma or GED Basic math skills; add and subtract numbers Ability to use hand, air, and power tools Basic computer literacy required to follow work instructions Specialized training in engine or engine components is helpful Experience in an assembly line setting preferred Why SRC?
