What you'll get to do: The Community Support Specialist provides
support and activities through an organized treatment plan designed
to ease an individual's immediate and continued adjustment to
community living. Community Support Specialist use advanced
knowledge of psychological concepts, evidenced based interventions
and coordinating delivery of mental health services with other
services provided by practitioners and community partners.

Education and Experience: Advanced knowledge in mental health
issues as evidenced by:
- A bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or other related
human service specialized fields of study.
- A bachelor's degree in an unrelated field and two years of
related work experience.
- A combination of four years or more of advanced education and
two years of related work experience.
- An Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support
from an approved institution will also fulfill the educational
- Four years' work experience in a related field may substitute
for educational requirements.

which will include clients homes, clinics, and other places around
