everything. It's all about the numbers—knowing them, tracking them,
double-checking them, and making sure everything lines up and ends
up exactly where it needs to be. That's the kind of meticulous
Logistics & Production Coordinator we're looking for at Vital
Farms: someone who's organized, sharp with spreadsheets, and
genuinely cares about getting the details right. Because here's the
deal—at Vital Farms, we're on a mission to bring ethical food to
the table, one thoughtfully sourced ingredient at a time. While
we're best known for our pasture-raised eggs—giving our hens 108
square feet to roam and calling bullsh*t on terms like "cage-free"
and "free-range"—we're just getting started. We give a cluck about
the health of our animals, the wellbeing of our customers, and the
future of our planet. If that sounds like something you care about
too, let's talk about how you can help us stay organized and make a
meaningful impact as our new Logistics & Production Coordinator.
Fluent in the language of trucking, shipping, receiving, and
inventory management, you're that rare bird who thrives in both
team settings and when flying solo. You've got egg-ceptional
communication skills that help you juggle shifting priorities, and
you're not afraid to take ownership. At the end of the day, you
understand you're the final checkpoint—ensuring every pallet,
product, and piece of paperwork is accurate, accounted for, and
ready to go. What You'll Do As a key part of our logistics and
production team, you'll bring strong organizational skills,
attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset to help ensure
smooth operations each day. You'll work closely with our internal
teams and logistics partners to keep everything moving
efficiently—while using ERP systems and Excel to stay on top of the
details. Prepare all Bills of Lading (BOLs) and pallet
documentation for outbound shipments Welcome truck drivers, check
them in, and assign them to the correct dock door Communicate dock
door assignments to the SRW team to ensure timely and friendly
service Track and communicate daily shipping updates—short ships,
mis-ships, and complete ships Plan and monitor all incoming and
outgoing shipments to support on-time performance Reconcile daily
outbound shipment totals and support inventory accuracy Use Excel
and ERP tools to track data, identify trends, and support
decision-making Assist with weekly production scheduling, ensuring
alignment between production and logistics Partner with the broader
team on inventory reconciliation and continuous improvement
initiatives Take ownership—identify opportunities to improve
processes, eliminate waste, and deliver exceptional service What
You Bring to the Table First, you bring a big ol' helping of
passion for ethically sourced, nutritious food and purpose-driven
brands. And you bring extra napkins. You have 2 years of experience
in logistics, production planning, or a related operations
role—bonus points if it's in a fast-paced or food manufacturing
environment. You've got strong MS Office skills—especially in
Excel—and know your way around spreadsheets like a pro. You're
confident working in ERP systems and using data to make decisions
and solve problems. You have excellent verbal and written
communication skills, and you know how to tailor your message for
your audience. You're a dedicated team player who believes that we
is greater than me —you celebrate others' wins and know
collaboration is key. You give a sh*t. About the animals. About
relationships. About keeping things real. You act like an owner and
take pride in being part of Vital Farms. You hold yourself to high
standards and strive to grow personally and professionally every
day. You can walk in someone else's boots—you seek to understand
different perspectives and believe better answers come from working
together. Honest conversations don't ruffle your feathers. You're
not afraid to speak up when you see an opportunity to improve—and
you expect the same from your teammates. Finding the right place to
grow your career isn't (over) easy, so we're here to help by
sharing a few reasons why the grass is greener at Vital Farms. We
think you'll appreciate our focus on Conscious Capitalism, which
drives business decisions that benefit all our stakeholders
(leading to even better business results). You might be drawn to
our innovative approach and refusal to settle for the "way things
have always been done." Or you could find it exciting to grow your
skills while working for an industry-leading brand. Whether you're
into our values, our brand, or our egg-cellent puns, we hope you'll
join our Crew and help us change the world 108 square feet at a
time! At Vital Farms, we are proud of our incredible stakeholders,
and the diversity they represent from all areas and communities in
which we operate and serve. We view this as a source of strength
for us and your job is to help us make it even better. Who We Are:

cultivating an environment where every Crew member can thrive,
grow, and know they're part of something bigger - improving lives
through ethical food. If this role sounds like the right fit for
you, we'd love to hear from you! Even if you don't meet every
qualification, we encourage you to apply - you might be exactly
what we need! Next Steps: Shortly after you complete your
application, you'll receive a follow-up email elaborating on any
potential next steps in our process. If you don't immediately
receive said follow-up email, we would highly encourage you to
