Description for Internal Candidates Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers • Projected average of $92000 annually Includes $80 per diem when laying over • 2-3 layovers per week • Monday through Friday, or Sunday through Thursday • Will dispatch within 50-mile radius of Lowell, AR What you will do: • 1-2 deliveries per route with live unload • Flatbed trailers with strapping required • Projected average route length of just under 800 miles Schedule: • Monday through Friday, or Sunday through Thursday • 2-3 layovers per week You will drive: • Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks • Best-in-class specs designed for comfort including automatic transmissions • Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all Why Penske? Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required. • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
