Walmart Inc., a leader in global retail, is seeking experienced Backend Chatbot Software Engineers to join our dynamic IT team. These engineers will play a pivotal role in enhancing our customer interaction systems through innovative chatbot technology. This position is focused on backend development for maintaining and improving the functionality of our AI-powered chatbots that service customers worldwide. Successful candidates will contribute to developing intelligent, scalable solutions that aim to improve customer satisfaction and streamline operations. Design and implement backend services for chatbot applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions. Optimize chatbot applications for performance and scalability. Maintain and update existing chatbot systems. Contribute to the entire software development life cycle from concept to deployment and support. Monitor live systems and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal functionality. Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js Experience with AI chatbot platforms like Google Dialogflow or Microsoft Bot Framework Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) Familiarity with RESTful APIs and server-side APIs integration Understanding of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot software issues Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification in AI or Machine Learning is preferable Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect or similar certifications beneficial
