ROLE: --Human Resources GeneralistLOCATION: Springfield, MO--Leading national provider of operations, maintenance, and engineering services for critical telecommunication and renewable energy infrastructure across the United States.--SUMMARY--We are searching for a skilled and motivated Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join a--rapidly growing infrastructure services enterprise. This individual will play a key role on our team and supporting the business in several HR functions, including the following: benefits administration, HRIS management, employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation, leave of absence administration, and compliance. In addition, this role will have the opportunity to assist in the implementation of a variety of new HR processes and programs.----Given that the responsibilities of this role are diverse, the ideal candidate will be a competent and resourceful person with a passion for HR who has the ability and desire to learn quickly.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvide support to employees and managers in various HR related topics such as leave of absence, compensation, etc., and resolve issues and problemsOrchestrate employee engagement, onboarding, and offboardingSupervise human resources training and development for the organizationCoordinate employee file and record conservation/retention in electronic and/or paper formOversee compensation and benefit plansAdminister various human resource programs and procedures; assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.Gather and analyze data with useful HR metricsParticipate in developing department goals, objectives, and systemsSupport filing of the EEO-1 report annually; and maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulationsInvestigate reports of policy violations and write substantive summaries of the investigations, conclusions, and actions takenLead interactive conversations with and employeesTrack Company incentive programs, including the Quarter-per-Quarter programAssist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes as neededSupport the performance management process to deliver the maximum value to the organization.Maintain company compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulationsREQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES4+--years of direct HR Generalist experience (preferably within a field services company -- telecom, solar, wind, construction, etc)Strong computer skills including working with enterprise-level software and MS products(S)PHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferredBachelor's degree in HR/Business Administration or relevant field (or equivalent - preferred)Understanding of general human resources policies and proceduresSolid knowledge of employment/labor lawsAbility to work independently under general directionAbility to problem solve and handle non-routine situations by determining the approach or action to take and interprets guidelines, procedures, policies, and practices.Outstanding knowledge of MS Office (including advanced Excel skills)HRIS experience, implementation experience strongly preferred (Paylocity is a plus)Excellent communication and people skillsAbility navigate conflict, seeking positive, mutually beneficial outcomesAbility to maintain confidential information.Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approachProcess and detail-orientedEmotional intelligence, good judgment, and the ability to ask for help when neededAbility to work with diverse and strong personalities to drive results in a fast-paced environmentCOMPENSATION and--BENEFITSThe company offers a--family-friendly and innovative culture with opportunities for growth, competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance), paid time off, and a 401k retirement plan.--Powered by JazzHR
