Job Description:

We are seeking two temporary employees for our Call Center at Seymour,MO The Call Center Representative is responsible for after-hours monitoring and maintaining activity logs. The employees w/be the start of our Tier One support for our Network Operations Center and during high volume times would be dedicated to answering calls freeing up our technicians to focus on fixing issues to decrease outage times. The Call Center Representative w/also be responsible for monitoring Coop video surveillance after business hours. We would like to have 2 call center employees; one to work weekend day shift (7:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m., Saturday, Sun and Monday and Tuesday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). and the other employee to work the weekend night shift (7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Saturday & Sunday and Thursday & Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). Prior experience in communications and customer service is preferred, with strong phone & verbal communication skills required. We w/be willing to pay $18/hour. Below is the Job Description: Role and Responsibilities Promote excellent customer-oriented services. Create trouble tickets for alarms and notify appropriate personnel of trouble.Keep all tickets up to date and customers and management informed.During outages, send notifications and updates to customers that are affected and Sho-Me employees.Monitor emails for customer issues.Recognize, document, and alert the management team of trends in customer calls.The Call Center Representative is responsible for after-hours monitoring of the command center assigned to dispatch security personnel by receiving incoming calls and maintaining required logs under the leadership of the Security & Remote Facilities Director.Monitor member sites for unauthorized activities.Notify appropriate personnel to respond to observed activities. May activate remote alarms and call law enforcement if situation warrants. Implement notification process in emergency situations, assist in the coordination of emergency situations.Prepare written detailed incident reports in a clear and precise manner.Qualifications and Education RequirementsPrior experience in communications and customer service preferred. Strong phone and verbal communication skills required. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
