Job Description:
DescriptionThe Paint Body and Equipment (PBE) Sales
Manager is responsible for all aspects of Paint and Body as it
pertains to sales, training and customer investments to provide
direct support for field leadership and the PBE field sales team at
all levels to promote profitable sales. The PBE Sales Manager is
the immediate supervisor to PBE coordinators and PBE Sales Techs in
the corporate office. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS•Effectively lead
and manage all activities related to sale's team members within
assigned area including: hiring, training and development, coaching
and mentoring, performance management, and progressive
disciplines.•Drives productivity of the sales team members through
team member development which includes direct feedback and coaching
on proven sales skills and processes. •Addresses areas of
sales skills/competencies, the customer experience and technical
knowledge (product and process) with each team member within
assigned area.•Research, plan and implement new market programs and
assisting the field sales team in overcoming market barriers within
key target accounts by adopting new and innovative approaches
toward market leadership through collaboration, innovation and
relationship building.•Work cross functionally in partnership with
strategic vendors, the field sales team at all levels and corporate
departments in the development and execution of strategies and
action plans for the PBE business.•Develop and communicate reports
to the field in order to keep leadership informed of PBE
performance for both contract and consignment account customers as
well as store/warehouse performance on investments.•Directs,
manages and enhances relationships with internal and external
customers to achieve strong partnerships.•Partner with internal and
external legal departments for contract pricing, terms and
conditions and agreements.•Work with field sales team on strategies
and programs to maximize revenue, monitor gross margin and company
financial goals. •Plan and organize a sales strategy that
includes individual account plans to meet or exceed Company target
for units, dollars and gross profit.•Meet regularly with vendors to
establish and maintain relationships, develop marketing materials,
maintaining financial goals, investments and expenses.•Proactively
manages and implements sales strategies, support processes and
productivity tracking in order to increase sales and continually
gain market share.OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS•Will be required to travel
for fieldwork, training and company/customer events. Travel is
approximately eight weeks a year.•Maintain and grow existing sales;
actively seek opportunities resulting in profitable growth.
Determine potential opportunities from marketing leads, cold calls
and other sources. Responsible for identifying opportunities and
market analysis within territory. Analyze customer and market
needs, pricing models and manufacturing input.•Maintain
relationships with current customers and establish relationships
with new customers/prospects to enhance the potential to sell, rent
and lease new and used equipment, to increase market awareness and
increase market share.•Work with customers and potential customers
to fully understand their needs, wants, concerns, satisfaction and
expectations by seeking information and opinions.SKILLS / EDUCATION
/ KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / ABILITIESRequired:•Minimum 5 years'
experience in a supervisor/management position in PBE or collision
industry.•Excellent presentation, communication and organizational
skills.•Intermediate skill set for using Microsoft Word, Power
Point.•Proven record of results exceeding sales goals.•Experience
in making face to face sales calls, presenting and closing
contracts.•Strong written and verbal communication
skills.•Extensive experience negotiating contracts.•Automotive
industry experience required; paint, body and collision experience
preferred.•Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving
record.Desired: •College degree in business, marketing
or related.•Broad automotive aftermarket experience.•Advanced skill
set using Excel to perform queries and build comparisons.•Bilingual
English/Spanish.•I-CAR certified.•ASE Master Certified in Paint,
Body, Structural, Mechanical and Estimating. BenefitsAll
