Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

• Provide anesthesia services with medical direction from anesthesiologist
• 
  
• Support expansion of weekend OR coverage including 7 ORs on Saturday (+ OB) and 7 ORs on Sunday (+OB)
• 
  
• Work Friday through Monday shifts to cover planned OR expansion for weekends
• 
  
• 10-hour shifts with both evening and day shifts available
• 
  
• Perform anesthesia for various surgical specialties including cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, neurosurgical, OB, pediatric, regional, and thoracic procedures
• 
  
• Provide general anesthesia for adult, pediatric, neonatal, and trauma cases
• 
  
• Administer spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
• 
  
• Handle obstetrical and neurosurgical cases including head and spine procedures
• 
  
• Perform open heart anesthesia and complex vascular cases
• 
  
• Utilize pain management techniques including post-op epidural and extremity blocks
• 
  
• Manage ventilation and acute volume/BP issues
• 
  
• Place central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters
• 
  
• Use x-ray guidance in performance of blocks
• 
  
• Minimum board certification eligible required
• 
  
• CRNA supervision required
