Unit Information: 3B Mercy is currently hiring exceptional nurses for the Surgical 3B unit! The Surgical 3B unit has 32 patient beds, with a nurse to patient ratio of 1-6 on days and nights. This unit is a fast-paced medical surgical telemetry floor which focuses on pre- and post-surgical patients, with a focus on GI, Urology and ENT surgeries. The Surgical 3B unit offers the opportunity to learn and perfect critical nursing skills such as: - Head to toe assessments - Telemetry monitoring - NG tubes - IV insertions - CBI's - Chest tubes, Trach and ostomy care - Drains - Wound Care Why Mercy?
