ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN
Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Springfield,
Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry -
Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours
per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN
Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for
ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside
experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5
weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the
initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN
- Cardiac Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00
PM to 7:00 AM • 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be
specified on submission) • 13-week assignment length • Weekend
hours as required by facility • No call requirements • Float on
rotational basis as needed • Patient ratios vary: Days 1:5-1:6,
nights 1:6-1:8 (estimates) • Work on 31-bed Cardiac Med unit (4B
floor) • Care for cardiac/medical surgical patients of all age
groups • Utilize nursing process for patient assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation • Coordinate patient care with
ancillary departments • Provide care for patients post trauma,
surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities • Required:
Current RN license eligible for Missouri, BLS from AHA, NIHSS
certification • Preferred: ACLS from AHA • Must have 1 year cardiac
telemetry experience (inpatient only) • Experience and competence
in drug titration required • Equipment includes Alaris pumps,
telemetry, lift equipment • Electronic Medical Record: EPIC • Dress
code: Black scrubs required • Physical demands include
standing/walking most of shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent
bending and stooping • High risk exposure to blood and body fluids
