Job Description:
Find your calling at Mercy! Under the general supervision of the
Manager – Co-worker Health, the Co-worker Health Nurse performs
daily activities to provide health services to Mercy co-workers.
Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with
our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details:
Minimum Qualifications: Experience: 2 years' hospital or clinical
experience. Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing
program; Consideration will be given for comparable education
experience and successful licensure. Is personally responsible for
obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring
state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State
Board of Nursing requirements. Other: Must be able to demonstrate
excellent oral and written communication skills Preferred
Qualifications: Certification(s) : • BLS (Basic Life Support)
certification through the American Heart Association or successful
completion of course within 30 days of hire. Knowledge, Skills,
Abilities: • Must be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written
communication skills. Physical Requirements: • Position requires
the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each
shift. • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel,
