Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - PICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 guaranteed hours weekly /n• 13-week assignment length /n• Weekend hours as required by facility /n• No call requirements unless sent home during shift due to low census /n• Float requirements: Expected to work in NICU, PICU, Pediatric medical floor, or Peds ED based on patient volumes /n• Required certifications: BLS and PALS from AHA only, TNCC or PCAR /n• Preferred certification: ENPC /n• Minimum 1 year PICU experience post orientation required /n• Must be ventilator competent /n• Current RN license in Missouri or eligible for Missouri licensure /n• Patient ratios vary by acuity: Vented/critical patients 1:1, ICU status 2:1, floor status 3:1 /n• 12-bed unit treating respiratory, surgical, trauma/burn, neurosurgery, sepsis, hematology/oncology and endocrinology patients /n• EMR system: EPIC /n• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week /n• Dress code: Black scrubs or pediatric appropriate t-shirt with black scrub pants /n• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1 /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility is a recognized leader in trauma and critical care services, featuring a Level 1 Trauma & Burn Center and Level 2 Stroke Center.
