We are seeking a dedicated and seasoned Medical-Surgical Administrative Director of Med-Surg Nursing Services to join our team. In this vital role, you will leverage your extensive nursing leadership experience to coordinate and direct care provided by team members, ensuring quality and efficient care across the system.Key Responsibilities: Utilize your nursing leadership experience to provide oversight and management of operational, regulatory, and business processes. Address system issues to facilitate the provision of high-quality care. Lead your department in facilitating change and fostering innovation. Promote self-development and professional growth to achieve excellence in operations, patient safety, and quality care.What Were Looking For: Extensive hospital nursing leadership experience with a proven track record of driving team success:o Required: 3-5 years previous hospital or nursing management experienceo Strongly Preferred: 5+ years hospital nursing leadership experience Education:o Required: Bachelors of Science in Nursingo Preferred: Masters of Science in Nursing (can be in process) Strong leadership abilities with a focus on improving patient care and operational efficiency. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, patients, and stakeholders. Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage and implement complex operational and regulatory processes in a hospital setting. Represents the departments on several process improvement, standardization, and regulatory committees. Operates strategic plan by setting and monitoring key performance measures and goals. Determines scope of care or service in relation to values, mission, and strategic plan of the institution. Assist with developing their departments long term plans. Working knowledge in human relations, customer service, inventory management, and budget management. Ability to work with multiple people while meeting numerous requests and deadlines. Goal oriented with initiative and potentials for self-development. Maintains organizational and priority setting skills. Delegates appropriately to other team members.
