This unit is a fast-paced medical surgical telemetry floor which focuses on pre- and post-surgical patients, with a focus on GI, Urology and ENT surgeries. The Surgical 3B unit offers the opportunity to learn and perfect critical nursing skills such as: Head to toe assessmentsTelemetry monitoring NG tubesIV insertions CBI's Chest tubes, Trach and ostomy careDrainsWound CareAvailable positions are as follows:Full-time AvailabilityPart-time Availability Day Shift (7am-7pm) Night Shift (7pm-7am) Weekend Option (Friday-Sunday) Eligible for up to $10. 00/hour weekend option payQualifications: Education: Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program Licensure: Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit Certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period.
