No cost e Care visits Employer-provided mental health services for employees and eligible family members Retirement with employer match up to 5% Tuition discounts and reimbursement available for continuing your education Cox Health Fitness Center and Child Care discounts Onsite delivery for Cox Health Pharmacies and 1906 Employee Store Job Summary This position will have oversight over clinical services across the emergency medicine and critical care pharmacy systemwide service lines.- The Pharmacy Lead - Critical Care/ED will report to the Assistant Director of Pharmacy - Operations -Leads the development of processes necessary for the smooth operation of their area of responsibility -Anticipates needs for pharmacy clinical and operations services and assumes a leadership role in meeting those needs -Provides program level management as well as shift specific management in areas of responsibility -Demonstrates active leadership internal and external to the Department of Pharmacy as an active member of pharmacy department committees, multidisciplinary hospital committees and/or professional association committees -Proactively seeks opportunities to improve performance and customer satisfaction and implements processes to minimize waste -Builds and maintains relationships with key individuals and solicits feedback regarding pharmacy performance -Prior to implementation of new policies and guidelines, ensures that appropriate communication and staff education have occurred -Provides clinical or operational leadership through in-service programs and/or publications for health care providers on appropriate drug use, the medication use system, and/or drug policy -Provides clinical and operational pharmacist services to patients in critical care units and the emergency departments -Teaches students, residents and new pharmacy staff and participates in scholarly activities -Ensures and audits compliance with federal, state, local and institutional policies, procedures, standards and regulations Job Requirements Education Required: Bachelors in Pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy Preferred: Doctorate of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency Experience Required: No Prior Experience Required Preferred: 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training Skills None specified Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: Registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist **Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire** Medication Therapy Services Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
