Summary Hours available are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday Job Summary This Physical Therapist (PT) will provide care to young adult thru geriatric populations in a variety of settings to include IP Rehab, SNF, Acute C are (specific to elective total joints) and OP Same Day Surgery.Following physician orders, responsible to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans directed at a minimum to prevention, management of conditions and/or rehabilitation.Treatments focus on returning patients to as normal a pattern of movement and functioning as possible through the use of therapeutic exercise, activity, modalities, and education that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve/prevent/restore impairments and limitations resulting from disease or injury.PT's may be hired for a specific unit but are required to float to all units for coverage.Specialty teams for trained therapists include wound care and lymphedema.Job Requirements Education Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program Preferred: Masters or Doctorate from an accredited program of Physical Therapy Experience No prior experience required Skills Good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills and organizational skills required.Self-motivated individual who can work independently with little direct supervision required Has demonstrated interest in professional growth by attendance at continuing education workshops, and applications of new principles and/or techniques.Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: MO license of Physical Therapy Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire Additional Information *Position Eligible for Sign-On Bonus and Earned Time Off* Job Benefits!
