Job Description:

Assesses and plans for patient care. Provides leadership within the surgical team. Responsible and accountable for care given to the patient. Responsible for the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill the professional role functions of the registered nurse in the operating room. Responsible and accountable to know and understand OZH's vision, mission, values and standards.

  Must be a Registered Nurse with current license in State of Missouri
  
  
• 
  Must have the ability to perform nursing activities in the peri-operative and intraoperative settings.
  
  
• 
  Must have the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing when solving problems and making decisions
  
  
• 
  Within six months to one year of employment as an RN Circulator, must be able to function independently within the operating room to provide individualized care to the surgical patient
  
  
• 
  Must be able to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  
  
• 
  Must be able to work independently as well as in a group with minimal supervision
  
  
• 
  Responsible for timely renewal of licenses and certifications.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS, ACLS, PALS
