Job Description & RequirementsPhysical Therapist - Acute - (PT - Acute)StartDate: 04/10/2023Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1550.00 - 1900.00Shift: Days, 5x8, 0700-1900
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Required Licensure: Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Current PT License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.)
Required Certifications: BCPR; BLS and ACLS from AHA only
Required Experience: 2 years PT

Must be willing to float when needed

MUST BE FULLY COVID AND FLU VACCINATED TO BE SUBMITTED - NO EXCEPTIONS

General Comments
Under the direction of a physician order, plans and implements specific physical/occupational therapy evaluation and treatment plan programs. The treatment is based on the patient's physical, developmental and psychosocial needs. Provides advisory service to other team members to provide quality patient care. Functions under the direct supervision of the Director and Assistant Director. Performs related duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Must have general knowledge of evaluation and treatment principles for a diverse number and types of diagnoses.

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Patient care may include heavy lifting and extensive bending and standing. Physical demands are attached plus push at 40 lbs., pull 60 lbs., and grip up to 50 lbs., pinch up to 15 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: May occasionally work with office equipment; i.e. copy machines, telephones, computer.
