Overview

The Central Region Throughput RN serves as the clinical resource for the Facility Patient Logistics HUB. The RN participates in the assignment of patients to an appropriate unit based on the identified admission criteria for each unit and prioritizes deployment of support services to maximize bed capacity, including EVS and centralized transport. Utilizing the best processes and technology, the Patient Logistics RN collaborates with the HUB team and a variety of care teams to facilitate a comprehensive, efficient and highly reliable patient flow and staffing experience for patients, providers and co-workers. Where possible, the Central Region Throughput RN provides operational support for patient flow, including but not limited to bedside clinical support.

12 hour shifts plus every other weekend.

Qualifications:

Education:

Licensure: Current and valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years acute care experience including 1+ year critical care or ED for transfer center duties preferred.

Certification/Registration: BLS.
