Come join our team! The Pediatric Physical Therapist position is responsible for working with patients to improve their movement and manage their pain. They evaluate their patients' movement dysfunction and devise a treatment plan in response through prescribed exercise, hands-on care, and patient education.
The Physical Therapist must have excellent organization, time management, and communication skills-both verbal and written. They must be able to interact appropriately with all clients, families, visitors, and other professionals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
Screen, examine, and evaluate patients, including history, applications of appropriate tests and measures, synthesis of information and interpretation of findings in order to establish a diagnosis, identify impairments, determine the predicted level of improvement and the time required to achieve it, identify precautions/contradictions and design a plan of care.
This position Develops appropriate treatment goals and methods in collaboration with the patient and caregivers, implement the designated treatment plan, and complete all related documentation and record keeping regarding these services.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS
For this position, applicants must possess a doctorate degree (or, if applicable, a master's degree) in Physical Therapy licensed, certified and/or credentialed, as required in the state of Missouri.
