Full time, 36 hours per week

Job Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) offers friendly, courteous,
and confidential assistance to every patient/client to ensure that
the patient/client has a positive experience while at Jordan Valley
Community Health Center.
Duties:
- Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs in order to
provide quality care to assigned patients.
- Develops, discusses, and communicates a realistic problem list
(plan of care) in collaboration with each
patient/family/significant other to address all identified
needs.
- Demonstrates the skills and judgment necessary to implement
medical plan of care, nursing interventions and procedures as
necessary for the care of the patient.
- Evaluates the identified problems, care provided and patient's
responses are reassessed to meet patient and family needs to ensure
overall quality of care delivered.
- Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care
provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the
healthcare team, to ensure quality care.
- Provides direct and indirect patient care duties under the
guidance and direction of the physicians and/or nurse
practitioners.
- Measures vital signs, performs EKGs, venipuncture, capillary
blood glucose testing. Interviews patients/clients and/or family
members to obtain accurate health information and ensures
information is documented in the patients/clients chart. Assists
patients/clients or family members with completion of medical forms
(as needed).
- Administers injections and medications, dresses wounds and
incisions, interprets physicians'/nurse practitioners' instructions
to patients, assists with emergency and minor surgery, and performs
related tasks as directed and needed. BenefitsOur benefits are

Clinic
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Two years of related work experience.
- Current state registration to practice nursing
- Current BLS Certification required.
