Job Description:

Functions as a strategic HR business partner in DFA's Beverage and Dairy Foods Division to support the achievement of the division's business strategy and objectives. Work in partnership with business leaders to identify and understand the business challenges and opportunities. Deliver people initiatives and solutions to enhance employee and business performance. Advise leaders on operational decisions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, employment law, company policies, and site-specific labor needs. Facilitate the implementation, execution and success across a range of HR areas including talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, employee engagement, employee relations, and leadership development. Duties and Responsibilities:HR PartneringWorks with leaders to build a People Plan that is aligned with DFA HR strategy, underpins and supports the Beverage and Dairy Foods business strategies, and delivers a competitive advantage though peopleSupports the division with developing measures of success and tracks progressIs a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Beverage and Dairy Foods leaders on all people and culture related matters and contributing to the divisional strategyWorks collaboratively with the central Human Resources teams to ensure alignment and positive execution of all current DFA human resources strategy, policies and proceduresTalent ManagementMaintain focus and urgency on frontline staffing needs and support HR team members with sourcingstrategies for hard to fill positions Identifies critical roles and manage the talent and succession planning process in the client area to ensure quality leaders are identified and developed and successions gaps are coveredCoach and support leaders to deliver regular, candid performance feedback and ensure all employees have an individual development plan.Facilitate the completion of performance management and recognition and rewards activities by collaborating with divisional and plant leadership teams.Learning and DevelopmentPartners with the Learning and Development team to design and deliver leadership development interventions that build the capability of leaders in the client groupCoordinates the execution of employee development activities to include, but not limited to DairyU, onboarding, front line supervisor training, and leadership training.Culture and Employee Engagement Works with leaders to create a compelling vision of the future to build employee engagement and support the division and plant leadership teams with actions plans to improve.Create an environment where employees are encouraged to focus on wellness through the Happy. Healthy. Safe. programCompensationFacilitates the completion of the annual compensation and bonus review with the client group/s, using the DFA framework and delivering within budgetManages "off cycle" compensation and bonus requestsEmployee and Labor Relations Provides coaching to leaders within the business on employee and team issuesPartners with the Employee Relations team, when needed, to recommend appropriate action and resolve complex cases and disputesProvide guidance and recommendations to the plant and divisional leadership teams when needed, to investigate and resolve complex cases and disputes in a timely manner.Support labor relations and divisional leaders in Collective Bargaining sessions.Team Leadership (as appropriate)Work closely with HR professionals and plant leadership teams at each plant location and provide coaching and feedback to build their capability and support their ongoing development The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
