DIRECT SUPERVISOR: SENIOR DIRECTOR OF FAMILIES AND GROUPSJOB OVERVIEW: Support Hill City Church objectives through embodying our mission statement: "Together we love God, love others, and make disciples of Jesus Christ." This role focuses on the vision and mission of HCKids, partnering with parents to disciple children.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:SUNDAY MORNING:

• Serve as HCKids Staff Coordinator on Sundays
• Lead teachers in pre-meeting, manage classrooms, welcome new families, ensure policies are followed, and coach teachers on best practices
• Maintain cleanliness and preparation of all facilities used by HCKids on SundaysLEAD:
  • Oversee vision casting and implementation of the HCKids vision statement
  • Foster a caring culture for volunteers and families
  • Conduct check-ins with volunteers
  • Lead teacher training and other development events
  • Oversee curriculum implementation
  • Manage Elementary Ministry/Worship/Large Group Teaching (Kindergarten - 5th grade)
  • Oversee Early Childhood Ministry (Birth - PreK)
  • Manage HCKids budget, calendar, and ministry planning
  • Address structures and processes within HCKids
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of teachers
  • Organize Family Discipleship events in fall and spring
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed in HCKidsPARTNER:
    • Collaborate with Family Ministries on Discipleship framework and parent partnership
    • Align vision and strategies with Family Ministries for birth to 12th grade
    • Partner with Family Ministries for Hill City at Home initiativesGROW:
      • Enhance HCKids systems and processes
      • Identify and develop HCKids leadership team
      • Support special needs ministry team and structure
      • Develop NextUp! Ministry for 4th and 5th gradersSTAFF:
        • Participate in weekly team meetings, 1-on-1s, and director meetings
        • Engage in monthly employee huddles and lunches
        • Create and review semi-annual role plans
        • Undertake training, organizational development, and staff processesQUALIFICATIONS:
          • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with details on education or experience length and relevance
          • Experience serving in the local church, with specific areas of expertise
          • Highly organized, self-motivated, able to follow general direction and produce results
          • Become and remain a covenant member in good standing at Hill City Church
          • Leadership experience
          • Physical ability to participate in children and family activities
