products, services, advice and experiences to clients and advisors
The Future Business Segment is responsible for strategic
formulation, go-to-market planning, and delivery of value to
customers, across the following domains (and others as work
progresses):

--- Advisor Experience & Support Model
--- Strategy, Performance, and Operations
--- Economics & Policy
The Director will be responsible to the Sr. Director leading the
Client Offering & Experience Team within the Future Business
Segment (FBS).
This individual will partner closely with functional leaders,
ensuring FBS needs are met for successful creation of the client
offering & end-to-end experience and execution of strategies to
test into and activate it. Doing so will require an understanding
of the markets in which the segment participates, the products,
services, advice and technologies that make up a winning client
value proposition, and the capabilities needed in order to develop
a deliver on that client experience and offering, and strategies
that provide a competitive advantage in attracting and retaining
clients at Edward Jones. This individual will also play a key role
in building our culture within the Future Business Segment and our
operating model with our functional partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Identifying strategies that provide a
competitive advantage in attracting and retaining clients to Edward
JonesPartnering with functional leaders to identify and develop a
system of roles and capabilities that support delivery of client
jobs-to-be done aligned to the FBS strategyOngoing refinement of
FBS Client offering & including a clear plan and timeline for
executionBusiness sponsor workstream partnering with Client
Experience, Branch Experience & Firm Strategic Enablement Office
teams that enables the creation of seamless experience aligned to
business strategy. Prioritize & manage trade-offs, risks &
opportunities associated with developing a positive client
experience.Develop roadmap of FBS client digital capability needs,
partnering with stakeholders to identify, prioritize & sponsor the
client systems / tools and related configurations that will enable
the desired client experiencesPartner with FBS Branch experience
team to embed client experience strategies into branch teaming,
CRM, Digital Onboarding
Other Responsibilities:
Advocate the Future Business Segment
strategy across the firm and partner with functional leaders to set
the conditions that drive towards competitive advantageCreate the
end-to-end client and branch experiences and lead team's execution
strategies to ensure consistent, cohesive deliveryUnderstand and
influence revenue and cost drivers to ensure segment profitability
and growth. Accountability for multiple initiatives which impact a
diverse stakeholder group Communicating and interacting with
stakeholders both vertically and horizontally to drive work to
conclusion Ability to connect business outcomes with operational
and technological considerations Investigate and verify the
desirability of future client offerings, and influence viability
and feasibility of offeringsCreate the environment to develop
strategies, tools, enablement and experiences for winning value
propositions to branch teams by identifying and resolving primary
constraints with causal logicInfluence enterprise change and
communication strategies and partner with functional leaders to
activate the future business segment reality and complete the
firm's transformationCreate, oversee, and assess processes and
workflows to support strategy milestonesAbility to coordinate
trainings, manage risks, and run effective meetings and sessions
for various levels of leadershipAble to work independently with
guidance on complex situations

include:
Education: Bachelor's Degree required,
Advanced Degree preferred
Certificates/Licensing:
FINRA Series 7 & 66 Preferred, but not required
CFP/ChFC Preferred, but not required
Years of Experience Minimum 10 years of related experience
required
Minimum 5 years leadership experience preferred, but not
required

Essential Experience:
Relationships Experience influencing and building relationships
with senior stakeholders is preferred. Strong external
relationships and network a plus as well.
Role Challenges Experience in supporting and/or leading start-ups
(external or internal, new teams, depts., groups) is preferred.

and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other
