Our goal is to improve business results and the lives of the people who drive those results: our associates The Product Engineering Manager oversees work related to the development and launch of products, ensuring cost-effective operations and delivery of a quality products. Responsibilities Lead development and launch of product in accordance to APQP methodologies. Oversees the creation of Work instructions, BOMs, Control Plans, PFMEA, and processes for new product introduction. Lead the creation and execution of product validation and process verification. Communicate project status both internally and externally to ensure alignment and successful product launch. Research and analyze customer proposals, specifications, manuals and other data to evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications. Assist the sales department with technical and marketing information, and the formulation of final quotes for customers. Draft and manage annual operating plans, including personnel, capital, and expense budgets. Recruit, interview, hire and train Engineering staff to support the organizational goals Oversee the work and assignments of departmental employees and provide constructive and timely performance feedback. Meet with employees, customers, and suppliers, and other guest of the Company as required to build and promote relationships. Overnight travel of varying lengths may be required, at times with little notice. Need to be able to travel internationally. Performs other duties as assigned. Key Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience. At least 5 years of experience in engineering leadership Demonstrated expertise with internal combustion engines Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
