Finance Manager --- Large International Manufacturing Company - HEAVY HYBRID ROLE (3-7 visits to office monthly) Our client is a niche manufacturing company that operates internationally and delivers complex services and products to a variety of companies, in turn, impacts consumers immensely. Our client due to growth and acquisitions is looking to add to its Finance Team and is seeking a new Finance Leader. The Finance Manager reports to the Sr. Director of Finance. This is a highly visible role. This is a highly rotational role and will see many aspects of the business, perfect for someone wanting to learn the industry and grow within the Finance Organization. If you have 5 years of financial management and/or cost accounting experience within an admired manufacturing company and would like to be considered for the Finance Manager role, please send your resume to joe.domblesadeccona.com In the role of Finance Manager (HEAVY HYBRID ROLE) your duties will include: -- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts as required to support the leadership team and meet all corporate requirements for the financial reporting and forecasting processes -- Provide finance director with timely and valuable inventory and 605/606 revenue insights that support business decision-making at the site leve -- Play a key role in successful integration of the future site into the current client and business process, and IT systems -- Develop product cost standar ds and cost models for site. Analyze both product/project and customer margins to identify areas of opportunity and focus -- Develop and document standard financial processes. Improve the efficiency of the finance function through a focus on process improvement -- Direct responsibility for maintaining the appropriate environment of internal financial controls in all aspects of the site---s financial reporting. Ensure the consistent implementation of Client---s accounting policies, accountable for the accuracy of site financial results in accordance with US GAAP -- Principal financial advisor and business partner to the leadership team and General Manager -- Provide the management team with timely and valuable financial insights that support business decision making -- Proactively identify and communicate areas for operational and financial improvement with the business, leading to improved gross margins and working capital. Partner with business on initiatives that improve financial performance -- Perform monthly accounting, closing and financial reporting activities for the business including, but not limited to, revenue reporting/recognition, balance sheet accounts, product and project margin reporting and manufacturing variance analysis -- Lead the development and coordination of the annual operating plan for the business. Monitor perfor mance and initiate corrective action as required. Drive adherence to monthly/quarterly/annual financial goals The ideal candidate for the Finance Manager role will possess: -- Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance -- Certification a big plus (CPA); MBA a big plus -- 5 years total experience in manufacturing operations finance -- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex accounting concerns to a non-financial audience -- Experience in Financial reporting software such as Oracle and Hyperion If you---re familiar with the details above and possess 5 years of manufacturing finance experience, please send your resume directly to joe.domblesadeccona.com
