Director of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC)Arkansas State University Mountain HomeApplication deadline is February 14.ASUMH seeks applicants for a Director of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC). Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with significant course work in business. This is a provisional position funded through a grant or contract. Annual position renewal is contingent upon continued grant funding and satisfactory job performance.-Compensation includes an annual salary commensurate with background and experience, and a comprehensive benefits and leave package.-The Director of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University Mountain Home reports to the Dean of the School of Business and Technology and is responsible for all aspects of Regional Office operations. The Director works closely with the ASBTDC State Director and lead center management team and ASUMH staff, students and faculty.REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSBachelor's degree with significant course work in businessDirect experience with business planning, marketing, and financial managementAbility to prepare, understand and analyze financial statementsExperience supervising employeesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to develop and teach small business seminarsExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience and skills necessary to conduct outreach with the business community and to engage with this target groupPREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMBA or Master's degree in applicable fieldExperience as a small business ownerExperience preparing loan proposals for financial institutionsExperience managing federal grantsExperience working with programs designed to assist small businesses at the federal, state, and local levelsClick the apply button in this posting to be taken to the Arkansas State University Mountain Home Job Opportunities page.
