Job Description:

A company is looking for a Software Engineer, Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Platform engineering with focus on supporting large scale workloads
Architecting and optimizing large-scale systems for data processing exercises
Providing production-grade service through observability and well-defined SLOs

Required Qualifications:

Experience with on-premises infrastructure, Kubernetes compute, and S3 object stores
Expert understanding of Data Engineering concepts and open source technologies
Fluency in Python, SQL, and experience with Trino and Apache Spark
Experience running a modern data stack on-premises using open source technologies
Experience working with workflow orchestration systems such as Argo Workflows or Airflow
