Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher
of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the
Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A school district in
North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Teacher for the Visually
Impaired to provide specialized instruction for students with
visual impairments. This onsite contract position requires a
licensed Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to work closely
with a caseload of 20-23 students with varying needs. Location:
Fayetteville, NC area (onsite in Lillington, NC) Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instructional support and interventions to
students with visual impairments Collaborate with educational teams
to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Utilize assistive
technology and adaptive materials specific to visual impairment
Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to ensure
educational goals are met Maintain accurate records and
documentation related to student performance and services
Qualifications: Active North Carolina Teacher of the Visually
Impaired (TVI) license/certification Experience working with
visually impaired students in a school setting Strong understanding
of instructional strategies and assistive technologies relevant to
visual impairment Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, onsite only Number of Positions: 1 This
