What makes us amazing, just to name a few - - The Emergency Trauma Center has a pathway dedicated to the growth and success of our Graduate Nurses. - The Emergency Trauma Center is a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center, recognized for outstanding trauma services in both Missouri and Arkansas - We are the areas only Regional Burn Center serving our multistate areas including Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. - 70 exam/treatment areas including 6 designated trauma suits - 11 beds dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department, with specialty trained Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians - Specialty Behavioral Health resources and treatment areas - SANE Program - Positive and cohesive relationships with Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians - Emergency Trauma Center Nursing Fellowship – a full time, hands-on program designed to increase skill set and comfort level in a fast pace environment. As a professional nurse in our Emergency Trauma Center, you will interact with nearly every healthcare specialty, caring for patients with minor illnesses to life-threatening diseases or injury. Qualifications: - Education: Graduate of a State approved School of Nursing. - Licensure: Possess a current RN licensure with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit. - Experience: Must have hospital based experience. Preferred one year Emergency Dept experience. - Certifications: ETC and Acute Care Center RN's must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period. ETC RN's must have a current ACLS card or complete a course within 6 months of their hire date. ETC RN's must have current PALS or ENPC, and TNCC cards or complete courses within one year of hire date.
