Summary Job Summary The Educator is responsible for coordinating, teaching and developing various processes or programs that enhance the professional development of patient care staff within Cox Medical Group. Responsible for the continued growth of the Cox Medical Group Education Program through process improvement. The Educator is committed to the development of others and being a positive change agent. Utilizes process and system thinking and long-term problem solving skills and collaborates with other areas to meet health system and regulatory agency requirements. The Educator is responsible for engaging others through effective communication, teamwork and consensus building to build partnerships with stakeholders. Job Requirements Education Required: Successful completion of accredited nursing program Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) with emphasis in clinical field or adult education that includes Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Experience Required: 3-5 years in related health care experience Preferred: Related experience in with training or instructional design Skills Able to manage multiple assignments/manage projects Demonstrates initiative and proactive practices Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to utilize Adult Education Theory and the ADDIE (Assess, Design, Deliver, Implement, Evaluate) educational framework Emphasis on safe care delivery; Emphasis on quality outcomes; Emphasis on education/ evidence-based research Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: MO RN License or compact license Preferred: Certified in Nursing Professional Development or Ambulatory Nursing through American Nurses Credentialing Center Additional Information Job Benefits & Perks!
