serez charg-- de diriger une --quipe de souscripteurs se
sp--cialisant en assurance Responsabilit-- des administrateurs et
des dirigeants, Responsabilit-- des pratiques d'emploi,
Responsabilit-- fiduciaire, Vol et d--tournement, Cyber-assurance
et Erreurs et Omissions. Ce poste rel--vera du Leader national de
la souscription des Lignes Financi--res. -- propos du r--le - Ce
que vous devez savoir: Souscription
- Souscrire et g--rer avec diligence les risques selon les normes
acceptables et --tablies
- Se conformer -- la r--glementation ainsi qu'-- une saine
gestion des risques
- Fournir une communication claire -- nos clients et courtiers et
d--montrer un leadership faisant face au changement
- Op--rer dans le respect des meilleures pratiques et des
directives de souscription de la division
- Produire de nouvelles affaires en travaillant avec nos
courtiers pour trouver de nouvelles opportunit--s
- D--montrer un niveau d'excellence op--rationnelle -- nos
courtiers et clients gr--ce -- une approche coh--rente, rapide et
proactive de la souscription
- Participer -- des r--unions et --v--nements corporatifs avec
les clients et les courtiers
- Partager l'information opportune pour la haute direction
- S'assurer que l'--quipe maintienne des fichiers pr--cis et
respecte toutes les normes, y compris les standards de service,
l'exactitude de l'--mission des polices et la maintenance des
dossiers
- Produire et r--viser les dossiers pour la v--rification par les
pairs, selon les normes convenues Gestion budg--taire / Ventes et
distribution
- Participer au processus budg--taire et faire des pr--visions
sur base mensuelle, trimestrielle et annuelle
- Contribuer afin que l'--quipe des Lignes Financi--res puisse
atteindre les objectifs de budget et de rentabilit--
- Aider au d--veloppement et -- la croissance d'un pipeline de
nouvelles affaires
- Repr--senter l'--quipe des Lignes Financi--res de l'Est du
Canada lors de r--unions, tant -- l'interne qu'-- l'externe
- Travailler avec les principaux courtiers afin de cr--er un
pipeline strat--gique de comptes cibl--s
- Travailler avec nos partenaires de distribution pour obtenir du
succ--s en nouvelles affaires ainsi que pour les renouvellements
Gestion du personnel
- Diriger une --quipe de souscription bas--e -- Montr--al pour
g--n--rer des r--sultats de souscription rentables
- Encadrer et former le personnel en d--montrant un leadership
efficace, en pr--chant par l'exemple et gr--ce -- des programmes de
formation

Lines Regional Underwriting Executive. About the role - What you
need to know: Underwriting
- Diligently underwrite and service risks to an acceptable
divisional standard
- Comply with key regulatory and risk management
responsibilities
- Provide clear communication to our clients and brokers and lead
through change
- Operate within the Financial Lines best practices and
underwriting guidelines
- Produce new business by working with your broker network to
source new opportunities
- Provide operational excellence to our brokers and clients
through a consistent, timely and proactive approach to
underwriting
- Engage in client and broker meetings/functions when
required
- Produce accurate and timely information for senior
management
- Ensure your team is maintaining accurate files and adhering to
all standards including service level agreements for premium
processing, policy issuance and file maintenance
- Produce and review files for Peer Reviews to the agreed
standards Budget Management/Sales and Distribution
- Assist in the budgeting/forecasting process on a monthly,
quarterly and annual basis
- Help the Financial Lines team achieve budget and profitability
goals
- Assist in developing and growing a working pipeline of new
business
- Represent Eastern Canada's Financial Lines team at pipeline
meetings both internally and externally
- Work with all major brokers to create a system of strategic
pipelining--
- Work with our distribution partners to achieve positive
outcomes in both new business and renewals People Management
- Leading a Montreal-based underwriting team to drive profitable
underwriting results
- Mentor and train staff through effective leadership, role
modelling and training programs
- Promote a team culture of collaboration, inclusivity and
learning
- Develop each team member to facilitate personal growth,
succession planning and career development, build personal
development plans and engage in on the job training to develop
underwriting and negotiation skills for junior team members What
we're looking for:
- Proven Financial Lines underwriting and Managerial experience
in Eastern Canada
- Bilingual communication skills, both written and verbal
- Risk analysis and technical skills
