Job Description Job Description We are looking for a dedicated Billing Clerk to join our team in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to contribute to a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will excel at maintaining accurate financial records, possess excellent organizational skills, and demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities. Responsibilities: • Accurately record, track, and post sales transactions into the accounting system. • Prepare and process billing for automotive deals while ensuring timely posting. • Review reports to identify and complete necessary tasks related to financial operations. • Complete monthly closing and balancing procedures by the designated deadline. • Monitor payment records for retail and wholesale transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Process deal postings, clear schedules, and issue lien payoff checks as required. • Organize and verify deal paperwork to ensure completeness and compliance. • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all tasks. • Communicate effectively with team members and customers to address inquiries and provide assistance. • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.• Previous experience in billing or a related financial role. • Proficiency in using accounting systems and software. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to address concerns professionally. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Capability to perform month-end closing procedures accurately. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. • Familiarity with cash posting and financial reconciliation processes.
